All too often it’s the Practitioner who gets all the information about the patient, and the patient gets little information about the Practitioner and his or her practice. I would like to change that.
My full name is Serena Sterling and I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have an incredibly sweet dog named Glinda. She brings warmth, joy, and laughter to my life. I like to travel, hike, and windsurf. I went to Reed College in Portland, Oregon and graduated with a BA in English Literature. I pursued a career in publishing and earned a master’s in International Journalism in London before moving to NYC to work as an editor for Spirituality & Health Magazine. Inspired by a rapid and remarkable recovery from debilitating fatigue (caused by having front row seats to the events of 9/11), by working with a Neuro Emotional Technique practitioner (NET), I switched careers and moved to San Francisco to earn a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology so that I could be a an NET practitioner as well and help others.
I was originally inspired to be a healing practitioner because I wanted to assist people in understanding the mind body connection and help them become their own authority over their health rather than depend on medical doctors. I chose to devote my life to the healing arts because I experienced first-hand the amazing ability to heal physical and emotional pain using NET. This proved to me that being pain-free, happier and more fulfilled is always a possibility to those who choose and seek out answers.
I believe with all my heart in the principles of alternative healing, which are that emotions effect our physiology, that the human organism has an innate healing ability, and that the body can be restored to healthy functionality. I believe with all my heart in how I practice and always strive to improve it. I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee. I want to help people. I want you to refer and continue to refer people to me because the more people who know about NET, the more people can find wholeness, happiness, and lead rewarding lives for themselves and for their families.
I established Sterling Holistic Health in Elixia Wellness Group because of the opportunity to promote health and healing to those who have a forward, pioneering outlook. The whole purpose of this clinic is to address the underlying obstacles and interferences that get in the way of you living your best life. What makes this practice unique is an unwavering dedication and determination to assist you in uncovering answers to your issues and to facilitate you in maintaining those results.
I will facilitate your journey in traversing life’s ups and downs. If you feel you would like support and guidance in unlocking and achieving your unlimited potential and targeting the areas in your life where you feel stuck, please feel free to call me at 503-232-5356 to set up an appointment.
